The days and weeks leading up to Rare Disease Day (Feb. 28) are a great time to educate about galactosemia and raise funds to support our community! But it’s never too late, so you can start sharing this week and continue into March.

Thursday, Feb. 27: Take Action Thursday
Wear red, white and blue on Thursday! Take action by sharing facts about galactosemia, contact legislators about newborn screening, research funding or healthcare access. Inspire others to get involved.
Friday, Feb. 28: Wear Zebra Print for Rare Disease Day
Wear zebra print, the symbol for rare disease. Bring treat bags or zebra coloring pages to school. Ask schools to promote Rare Disease Day. Share your images online and tag the Galactosemia Foundation!
