Our bi-annual conference will take place in Aurora, Colorado on July 16–18, 2026. This special three-day event brings together individuals with galactosemia, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals and researchers to learn, connect and support one another.
Participants will hear the latest updates in galactosemia research, discover new resources and take part in educational sessions designed for all ages and stages of the journey. Most importantly, families will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with others who share similar experiences.
New this year, the conference will include an additional day on Thursday, July 16, dedicated to scientific programming. Thursday’s Scientific day will feature presentations and discussions focused on Galactosemia Foundation–funded research, emerging therapies and advances in clinical care. This day is intended primarily for healthcare providers, researchers, industry partners and community members who are comfortable with advanced scientific and medical content.
For those unable to attend in person, the 2026 conference will offer a hybrid option. The Scientific day, general sessions and select breakout sessions will be available in a view-only virtual format. Virtual attendees will also have access to the conference app, allowing them to connect with other participants and engage with the community.
Join us for an inspiring and informative weekend dedicated to strengthening our community, advancing research and shaping the future of galactosemia care.
